Haynes Parish Council


Welcome to the Website of Haynes Parish Council


The Parish of Haynes includes Haynes village, plus the hamlets of Deadmans Cross, Standalone Warren, Church End & West End.


The Parish Council is made of up 10 elected members who serve a 4 year term. It is responsible for a number of local services, including: roadside seats, Bus shelters, the playing field & the old orchard on Silver End Rd. In addition, the Parish Council liaises with Central Bedfordshire Council on matters that are their responsibility such roads and footways. It also considers and responds to local planning proposals received from Central Bedfordshire Council, and other matters that might affect the lives and well-being of Haynes residents. 


The Parish Council meet 6 times a year in January, March, May, July, September & November, plus there is an Annual Parish Meeting in April. Full details of meetings are in the "meeting dates" on the left hand menu.


The public are welcome to attend & there is always 15 minutes set aside for public questions.
